One is your local AHEC (Area Health Education Center). Make sure that this is really the path for you, then think about getting some certifications later on in your career. I graduated from Temple with a B.A. On the other hand the community college route with an ABA cart will prepare you more for the actual job at hand and give you a good base of knowledge.
Again, we elected to take all the students on both teams to the South Super Regional. Sit in on classes to get a feel for what it is all about. They want to know if you will work nights/weekends and you are reliable. There are lots of ways your non-qualifying team can help out (if they want to).
